The Arlington Animal Hospital provides our estabished, active clients veterinary emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. After hours emergency care may be arranged by calling our regular phone number (802) 375-9491. The Answering Service will take your name, important information, and your phone number. They will then page the veterinarian on-call. Please stay off and by your phone so the veterinarian may call you back ASAP. Do not proceed to the hospital until the veterinarian has contacted you directly.
AAH networks our emergency services with the West Mountain Animal Hospital (WMAH) in Shaftsbury, Vermont, Dr. George Glanzberg in North Bennington, Vermont and Green Mountain Animal Hospital in Manchester, Vermont to ensure complete coverage. The answering service may direct you to one of these other hospitals if necessary.
Non-clients are encouraged to call their regular veterinarian (the veterinarian providing annual examinations and rabies vaccinations) for emergency services. Immediate care may also be recieved at the Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic at (518) 785-1094. Summer residents and visitors to the area may call ahead to establish contact with AAH in the event that emergency services are necessary.
